Currently live is the National Champion Mare (at 6.30am Mountain Time) - so another 2 or 3 hours yet before the stallions

You'll need Google translator unless you read German

http://www.fontana-syndikat.de/edit_nms_2013.html

Of note is that it indicates that Michael Pollard will have the ride on Rusticus.

I'd be interested to hear what the ATA leadership has as a vision for breeding in the US - apart from the bi-monthly letter from the President, there doesn't seem to be a way for the membership to glean information. Possibly that's a good thing.... maybe lack of a specific breeding direction eg black dressage type is what will help the breed the most overall.

I believe that Christina TURNER bought Rusticus not Tina Potter.... I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is what has been posted on FB and by the owners etc.... (and that would also make sense with M Pollard having the ride for C Turner to have bought him not T Potter).

I've loved Singlo since his approvals, so happy about Kissinger.

Anissa is correct, it was Christine Turner, not Potter who purchased.

The ATA doesn't advise or set breed direction; unsure if Verband specially address this or if they direct based on NMS selections. If you read Maren's article (and the TI write up promises to be even more direct) or watched the live stream, you know the audience was largely unimpressed w/candidates - and auction prices confirmed. Suspect you may see a notable difference in 2014 stallion candidates.
