Multiple new Trakehners starting their season this week and several moving up divisions.  Some interesting new TK bloodlines are competing - exciting to expand the base!

Very excited about the two imports that started @ Majenfelderhof: Sunsprite Madeira (v. Goldschmidt) and Regenmann (v. Kaiserdom).  Regenmann was imported by Holger Hoetzel, a former NMS stallion candidate named Hundertwasser.  And the Mittleiders have definitely turned into TK believers as the Hungarian-bred Turo Rudi (v. Herzog von Nassau) was selected & imported by Sara's husband Attila Rajnai for one of their students!

CIC3* - 10 starters - FINAL
Jefferson and Natalie Rooney (Elazar - Enrico Caruso *Ps*E*) - Rider Fall Standing sixth on a 55.5 after dressage an unfortunate 3 rails in stadium moved them down 3 spots on a score of 67.5. A fall xc ended their weekend.

Open Intermediate - 19 starters - FINAL
Sea Lion and Pam Fisher (Sea Salute xx - Caveat xx) - Retired Third on a 35.6 after dressage a rail dropped them one spot to 4th on a 39.6. They retired at fence 7 xc. Hopefully both are ok.

Training 3-Day - 10 starters - FINAL
Isengart and Matthew Walley (Lauries Crusador xx - Parforce) - 4th Tied for 6th on a 37.3 after dressage they add nothing to that score thru the endurance phases and move up to final 4th still on their dressage score.

Open Training - 20 starters - FINAL
Freudentag and Karen O'Neal (Windfall *Pg* - Amethyst) - 1st on a 26.7 after dressage. They add nothing to this score in SJ or xc to take the win on their dressage score. Well done!
Herbstrose and Kelly Pugh (Windfall *Pg* - Target) - Eliminated Standing 14th on a 41.0 after dressage they are eliminated in stadium.
Lucid Opposition and Caroline Dein (Fleetwater Opposition - ??) 7th Tied for 11th on a 38.1 after dressage a rail in stadium holds that position on a score of 42.1. A fast and clear xc moves them up to sole posession of 7th on a final 42.1.

Training Horse - 25 starters - FINAL
Hunters Bolero and Michlynn Sterling (Fandango - Fabius) - 15th[i] Tied for 23rd on a 39.1 after dressage a double clear stadium moved them up 6 places to 17th and a clear xc with just 4.4 time penalties moved up another 2 places to end 15th on a final score of 43.5.
[i]Semper Fidelis and Gary Mittleider (Tzigane *Pb* - Polarpunkt)
- 5th First on a 27.1 after dressage an unlucky rail in stadium dropped them 7 places to 8th after stadium on a 31.1. A double clear xc moved them back up 3 spots to final 5th.

Novice Horse - 22 starters
Mercury Rose and Attila Rajnai (Tzigane *Pb* - Rare Brick xx) - 1st on a 25.2 after dressage
Turo Rudi and Gary Mittleider (Herzog von Nassau - Kennedy) - 3rd on a 27.0 after dressage

Open Novice - 20 starters
Regenmann and Jessie Hargrave (Kaiserdom - E.H. Consul) - 1st on a 23.5 after dressage
Sunsprite Madeira and James Alliston (Goldschmidt - Santiago) - 2nd on a 25.2 after dressage

Why would registration matter at all?? We need to promote every drop of Trakehner blood out there and this is the way to do it! Especially when you want to convert people and realize how much TK is out there.
Or is this an ATA-specific forum? In which case I would understand if only ATA horses should be highlighted.

Not ATA-specific. You and Fiona have convinced me to promote all horses w/TK blood here. Unfortunately, only ATA-registered horses are eligible for year end awards (but maybe some identified here will decide to register).
