Who is breeding what for 2014??
So many of my other (non Trak) breeder friends are cutting back. Some even getting out.
What is everyone here planning for the 2013 breeding/2014 foaling year?

Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
I'm not doing any breeding this year, but the plan is to breed twice next year using ET. Xena is going to be bred to Sea Lion xx and to Fleetwater Opposition if I can get my hands on a breeding dose. If not F.O. then I'm thinking Horalas*Pg*E*.

IF and I mean IF all goes to plan: Sera Veneziana (Venziano out of Sweet Chloe by Carino *E*) will go to.... drum roll... E.H. Buddenbrock! She is going to Katie Wooten Bryant's in March to get finished under saddle and shown, bred in May ish and then continue showing until the late fall/winter when she can come home to foal out. If this breeding happens (finances will be the key factor on that breeding - and that means a couple of the kinds for sale need to sell first) then the foal will be for sale.
Pennant's Valentine will go back to Tate.

Hennie *M* will be bred to Taz as already have requests for this foal. If things go according to plan Pr.St. Schoene Symphonie to Taz again (hope for a filly to replace her dam as Sym w/b 15 in 2014). Orania will go to Snapper.
Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
This year my mare Tanzfee (Kaspareit, Graditz) goes with a haft trakehner, Hochadel, it's the first time his semen frozed, so will see...

I'd love to see pictures of her. I've not seen any Hannibal offspring
IF I breed this year (which depends on if I can find a 3 yr old project to ride), Prada (Abdullah/Carino/Habicht) will go to Halimey Go.

Have you seen any offspring? Would be interested to see photos if you have any.

I am leasing a Model mare, Jaida*M* by Carino*E* and she will be bred to Prelude.
I will most likely breed Silverweed xx (PSB) back to Prelude.
And I just love Ada GS*E* by Troy. She will be 22 this year. She is in excellent shape and an incredible producer--she is the dam of the approved stallions Arapaho GS and Argent Moon. I've had her for the past 3 years, and each year, she has gotten pregnant on one insemination in one cycle. (Amazing for such an old gal!) The first 2 colts she had for me were by Prelude and the one I'm expecting in March is by Hirtentanz and was conceived with one dose of frozen semen. I'd love to breed her again this year. Hoping all goes well. So far, she is happy and healthy and an excellent mother!

I'm with Kim...would love to see Hannibal and Halimey Go offspring photo's!
I'd like to breed to both of them, just based on the stallions performance and on Hannibals record of producing eventers.

she has a foal with Platinum VR 4 year ago, he's sold, this is the gentle big boy

Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
If this is the Halimey Go PDF that I created for Tim, please make sure to not share it anywhere close to Facebook. The images are mostly w/o rights, other than Jutta's. I was in a hurry!
Halimey kids are really interesting. He's had about 70 foals in Germany so far, oldest are under saddle, already winning in competition, and in mare performance tests and the jumping scores are just as impressive as the dresasge scores. That stallion is a big asset for North America!!

Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
Well this is not set in stone but a rough draft
1) Fair Diva (Fair Rock o/o St.Pr.St. Fair Rock by E.H Rockefeller) - Not 100% sure yet. Wanted to Inamarato (E.H Buddenbrock o/o Indiran XV by Fontainbleau), but not sure how I feel doubling up the Rockefeller so close up. Opinions??
2) Kalua (Heling o/o Kalliste by Amadeus) to Hailo (E.H Anduc o/o Herakila by Thor)
3) Cara Bella (Sired by Buddenbrock o/o Coeur Neuf by Mackensen) to Hofrat frozen (EH Gribaldi o/o Habsburg II by Guter Planet) and if that does not work I will try the one dose of Latimer I have left.
4) Siegi (Veneziano o/o Scenic Setting xx by Growshawk xx) - Not sure yet. If Cara takes on the first does of Hofrat, I will drop the other in Siegi to see just how lucky I can be.
5) Scarlett (Oskar II o/o Sidney by Schubert) - Not 100% sure yet.
And I still have my Troy x Troubadour mare that does not have a great biospy. I may cross her on my older stallion, Puerto D'Azur, but have not made up my mind yet. I may just ride her for the year again. I think Im going to be babied out! LOL
PS - Edited to say, if ANY of you have opinions on the crosses, I would love input. I dont get my feelings hurt easy.

Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
I think you have a nice dose of XX to use with Inamorato (btw - Anissa shot new video of my Inamorato colt who has a good dose of TB through his dam- it's on my website and FB) and Rockefeller in 3.4 is sound line breeding - unless there is a reason not to (Maren might know?)
Cara Bella to Hofrat sounds awesome - good luck!

My Manrico son will be three next month. I think I will breed a few of our mares to him. The difficult part will be deciding which ones.

Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
LaNet, the doubleing up on Rockefeller is a very good thing, it is also fairly back in your case, and I like what I have seen of Inamorato so far. Also, knowing Diva and her family pretty well ... I can see these two together really well (mentally of course ).
Good catch on that Schubert kid! Something with correct foundation and outstanding movement should double up nicely on Oskar II and this particular family. Good luck!

Re: Who is breeding what for 2014??
We shall see.
I have a lot on my personal plate right now so if it does not work out with ease, then it just wont happen. I cant stress over it this year.
Happy breeding and luck to everyone else.
