The approved stallion CARLSBERG by Imperio, out of Comandra by Nandino xx, bred by Hubertus Poll, Hörem, Germany, and owned and shown by Robin Koenig, Middleburg, VA, won the 3-Year-Old Colts and Geldings Class in the Breeding Division of the prestigious  Dressage at Devon in Devon, PA, on September 24, 2013. He also was Reserve Champion Colts and Geldings.
Congratulations!

*Is* he approved? Because doesn't he have to do a 30/70 DT to be fully approved by the Verband? And does he still have to be presented for ATA approval? (Assuming the owner wants to make him available)

(and isn't his mother Cornandia?)

Cornandia is correct. I really liked him in NMS.

he does have to do a 30 day test this year in order to gain provisional approval for 2014, or a 70 day test for the lifelong approval. However, I don't know if there is a 30 day test in the US. He can do the ATA model next year and will be approved for the ATA, but not for Germany.
