However - the Verband report the sale of Tabasco TSF as, if I'm understanding the translation right (not always LOL) because he isn't a championship horse (??!! - which begs the question, well what on earth is, then?)

Correct, Tabbi was sold. Ingrid's website states that the National trainers determined the horse was not Championship material READ would never have been selected for a team spot, although eh was longlisted for the European Champs which begin in a few weeks. Hence he was sold. Quickie on that one ....

Btw, there was another horse way back when that was determined not quite as good as Ingrid's other top horse at the time, and always seemed to play second fiddle. Not championships material maybe - that's me just guessing? Name of horse? Windfall.

I'm pretty sure some young rider now has the horse of a lifetime. Ingrid runs a professional business and she was a co-owner of the horse, so this was probably a good decision.

After the first day of dressage, Ingrid Klimke and FRH Butts Butts Abraxxas sit in 1st with Andreas Dibowski and FRH Butts Leon in 2nd, and Kai Ruder and Leprince des Bois in 5th
